Kirkwood Spring Festival and events in Downtown Kirkwood Atlanta

Kirkwood Festivals + Events

Every year more and more people flock to Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood for the laid back festivals and events.  Here are just a few of our favorite things to do:

Lanta Gras – Kirkwood Mardi Gras Parade (JANUARY)

Kirkwood Eats & Beats (APRIL – NOVEMBER)

PARKS IN KIRKWOOD

One of the things we love most about Kirkwood is that there is quite a bit of green space and residents actually use it on a regular basis! Bessie Branham Park is located in between Norwood Avenue and Kirkwood Road and offers a ball field, basketball courts, picnic area and one of the best playgrounds Intown. This is also the home of the annual Kirkwood Spring Fling Festival.

Just down the road, you’ll also find Gilliam Park, Coan Park and the Kirkwood Urban Forest and Community Garden.
